Corporate
At KRS we realise that corporate groups have different needs. They often have time constraints. Activities have to suit a wide range of people. They require fexibility with trip times, food and transport. All of our rafting and kayaking tours can be altered to meet your particular needs.
Whitewater Rafting Options
Rafting, by nature, is the ultimate team building activity. Everyone is literally in the same boat, decked out in wetsuits and helmets, paddling the raft together through fun filled, challenging rapids. Our guides know how to make people feel comfortable and encourage people to work together, all done with a sense of humour.
We can offer you an excellent range of trip options, ranging from ½ day to two day durations. With an array of accommodation available in the area to suit all budgets, staying over night is no problem. So if its fun, excitement or team building and leadership you desire, we can deliver. Our staff are experts in their field and we will develop a program to fulfil your requirements.
Rafting is a great adventure activity – because small, tall, young and old can do it. There’s no better way to develop team spirit, break down personal barriers and develop leadership than stepping out of your comfort zone and into the unknown. With your professional raft guide/facilitator to direct things and keep you safe, you will not only enjoy a trip to remember but learn powerful things about yourself and your crew as well.
At Rafting New Zealand we believe we can offer your company/team a truly unique experience which will provide highly rewarding outcomes for your staff and business.

Waikato River Raft Race

This activity is popular with corporate groups as it meets all the criteria for a conference activity. It is a hands on, team building activity, yet there is time for water fights and fun on the river. Large groups can participate all together at the same time. The entire activity only requires an hour, from meeting at the starting point to getting back on the bus at the end.
The race starts at the Control Gates Bridge, just on the edge of Taupo town. We will have the rafts lined up on the bank and ready to go. Our guides will fit everyone into life jackets before giving a safety talk and outlining the rules of the race. The group then breaks into their teams of up to 8 people and get on the water.
Teams have a bit of time while floating down the river to choose a captain and practise paddling. Our guides will be floatiing alongside the rafts in kayaks to offer advice and point out any hazards in the river. Once the teams are organised, the rafts line up and wait for whistle to start the race. Then it's all on! A hard out paddle to the finish line, splashing any teams that are trying to overtake.
