Corporate
At KRS we realise that corporate groups have different needs. They often have time constraints. Activities have to suit a wide range of people. They require fexibility with trip times, food and transport. All of our rafting and kayaking tours can be altered to meet your particular needs.
Whitewater Rafting Options
Rafting, by nature, is the ultimate team building activity. Everyone is literally in the same boat, decked out in wetsuits and helmets, paddling the raft together through fun filled, challenging rapids. Our guides know how to make people feel comfortable and encourage people to work together, all done with a sense of humour.
The Rangitaiki River and Tongariro River trips are both well suited to corporate groups. The rapids on both rivers are of a level that all adults can handle and enjoy. Logistics are very similar with both trips requiring 5 1/2 hours total trip time. River flows and location can influence which trip is best for your group. Have a look at our trip descriptions and contact us directly to customise your tour.
Waikato River Raft Race

This activity is a spin off from our Waikato River Kayak Tour. It is popular with corporate groups as it meets all the criteria for a conference activity. It is a hands on, team building activity, yet there is time for water fights and fun on the river. Large groups can participate all together at the same time. The entire activity only requires an hour, from meeting at the starting point to getting back on the bus at the end.
The race starts at the Control Gates Bridge, just on the edge of Taupo town. We will have the rafts lined up on the bank and ready to go. Our guides will fit everyone into life jackets before giving a safety talk and outlining the rules of the race. The group then breaks into their teams of up to 8 people and get on the water.
Teams have a bit of time while floating down the river to choose a captain and practise paddling. Our guides will be floatiing alongside the rafts in kayaks to offer advice and point out any hazards in the river. Once the teams are organised, the rafts line up and wait for whistle to start the race. Then it's all on! A hard out paddle to the finish line, splashing any teams that are trying to overtake.

Waikato River Kayak Tour
Our kayak tour is ideal for groups looking for a relaxing time on the river. The combination of sun, fresh air and a gently flowing river make kayaking the perfect way to clear one's mind after conference meetings. As you only need only two hours for the entire trip, it is easy to fit a kayak tour in around meetings and other acitivities. It is frequently offered as an activity option for conferences where participants get to choose how they spend their free time.
